Hope in Action/Real Life

Captivity is exactly what Jesus came to break.

Addressing Addiction in the Family

You have tried talks. You have tried consequences. You have hidden it and you have exploded. Luke 4:18 is not a poster verse for this — it is a promise. Liberty to the captives is still His ministry.

This is not stronger than the cross

Addiction is a thief. It is not your loved one’s identity, and it is not bigger than the blood of Jesus. We do not pretend it is only a willpower problem. We also do not call it who they are.

Pray the Word. Get wise help. Refuse both enabling and contempt.

Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

John 8:36 (NKJV)

You need a church, not a secret

Isolation is where addiction grows. Come. Ask for prayer. Ask for practical next steps. We will walk with the family, not just tweet a verse.

Hope in action means we stay in the room.

Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Galatians 6:2 (NKJV)
