Is God More Powerful Than the Devil?
If you have been living as if heaven and hell are tied in overtime, the New Testament has better news. The devil is a defeated foe who still lies. He is not God’s equal. He is a created rebel on a short leash.
The cross was not a draw
Colossians 2 says Jesus disarmed principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them. First John 4:4 — greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. You do not fight for victory. You enforce it.
Fear of the devil is a poor worship. Reverence for God is better.
“You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.”

Resist, do not admire
James 4:7 — submit to God, resist the devil, and he will flee. That is a promise, not a suggestion. Fill your mouth with the Word. Stay in fellowship. Do not give him a foothold through bitterness or fear.
Come learn to stand. We will stand with you.
