Hope in Action/Real Life
Jesus did not leave you a book and a memory. He left you a Helper.
The Holy Spirit
For a lot of church people, the Holy Spirit is a doctrine. For Jesus, He was the difference between ministry in the flesh and ministry in power. If you have been trying to live the Christian life on willpower, there is better news.
A Person, not an atmosphere
Jesus called Him Helper, Spirit of truth, the One who would teach you all things and bring His words to remembrance. He is God with you and in you. He does not make you weird. He makes you like Jesus.
The same Spirit who raised Christ from the dead lives in the believer. That is not poetry. That is Romans 8.
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.”
John 14:26 (NKJV)
Power to be a witness
Acts 1:8 is Luke 4:18 for the church. You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. We need that for Titusville, not just for church history.
If you are hungry for more than a Sunday routine, you are hungry for Him. Come worship with a church that makes room for the Spirit without turning people into a spectacle.
“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Acts 1:8 (NKJV)
You do not have to figure this out alone
Come sit with people who are living this out.
Church Four Eighteen is a family in Titusville learning to receive what Jesus already finished — and to put hope in action. Saturdays at 5:00 PM. Kids are welcome. Come as you are.
