The myth of the self-made person dies in a hospital, a divorce, or a 2 a.m. panic. You were created for help — from God and from His people. Asking is not failure. Asking is humility.
A very present help
Psalm 46:1 is not for people who almost had it together. God is a present help in trouble. Jesus said the well do not need a physician. You qualify.
Send the prayer request. Come to the gathering. Let someone carry a corner of the thing.

We are not a weekly concert. We are a family that practices Luke 4:18 — binding up, setting free, recovering sight. Tell us what you need.
