Is the Bible Legit?
If the Bible is just ancient opinion, then we are all guessing. If it is God-breathed, then it is the kindest thing He could have put in your hands. You are allowed to test that claim. Many of us did.
It holds up under scrutiny
The Bible was written by many people over many centuries, yet it tells one story that lands on Jesus. We have a manuscript tradition stronger than almost any ancient work. Prophecies about the Messiah were not written after the fact. And then there is the stubborn fact of a church that will not die.
Evidence can clear debris. Only the Holy Spirit can make the Word alive in you. Both matter.
“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”

The best proof is what it does
Hebrews 4 says the Word is living and powerful. It does not just inform. It divides soul and spirit. It heals, it corrects, it reveals a Father. At C418 we open it every Saturday because we have watched it change people — including us.
If you are skeptical, start with Luke or John. Read it. Ask God, if He is there, to confirm His Word. That is not a trick. That is how faith comes.
