Hope in Action/Answers
Wrath met sin at the cross. It is not hovering over His kids.
Is God Angry at Me?
Some of us were raised on a God with a short fuse. You sinned, He steamed, you grovelled, He cooled off until next time. That is not the gospel. God is holy, and He is not casual about sin. He is also a Father who already judged sin in the body of Jesus. If you are in Christ, you are not living under a warning light.
There is no condemnation in Him
Romans 8:1 is not a mood. It is a location. There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. Wrath against sin is real — and it was poured out at Calvary, not stored up for Saturday when you miss it again.
Conviction is the Spirit showing you a better way. Condemnation is the accuser trying to put you back under a debt Jesus paid. Learn the difference. Your Father is not the accuser.
“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.”
Romans 8:1 (NKJV)

He is not mad at His kids
Does God hate sin? Yes. Does He want you free? Yes. Is He pacing heaven waiting to punish you into maturity? No. Jesus already took the punishment. What the Father wants now is for you to receive righteousness as a gift and learn to walk like who you are.
If anger is the only face of God you have ever seen, come sit under grace and truth at Church Four Eighteen. You might meet a Father you have never been introduced to.
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8 (NKJV)
