Being Forgiven by God
Some people cannot forgive themselves, so they assume God is even harder. The gospel is almost the opposite. God in Christ already dealt with the sin. The invitation is to receive what was finished.
As far as the east is from the west
Psalm 103 says He has removed our transgressions from us. First John 1:9 — if we confess, He is faithful and just to forgive. Just — because the debt is paid, not because He is in a good mood.
Stop negotiating. Believe Him.

Live like a forgiven person
Forgiven people become forgiving people. They also come to church without waiting to “get it together.” Together is what happens after you arrive.
If you need to say yes to Jesus, say it. If you already did and still feel dirty, come hear about righteousness as a gift.
