Hope in Action/Answers
Finished by Jesus. Received by faith.
What Is Salvation?
Salvation is a bigger word than “going to heaven when you die.” It is rescue, healing, wholeness, and a new nature — now. Jesus did not die to make bad people behave. He died to make dead people live.
Grace did the work
Ephesians 2 could not be clearer: by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God. Not of works. If you added to it, you would have a reason to boast, and the cross would be a down payment instead of a full purchase.
Jesus became sin so you could become the righteousness of God in Him. That is salvation: an exchange, not a self-improvement plan.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”
Ephesians 2:8-9 (NKJV)
Receive it, then walk it out
You receive salvation in a moment. You learn to walk in it for a lifetime. The spirit is new; the mind is being renewed. A church family helps you see what grace has already made true.
If you are ready, say yes to Jesus. If you already did and still feel like a project, come hear who you are in Christ. That revelation will do what striving never could.
“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit.”
Titus 3:5 (NKJV)
You do not have to figure this out alone
Come sit with people who are living this out.
Church Four Eighteen is a family in Titusville learning to receive what Jesus already finished — and to put hope in action. Saturdays at 5:00 PM. Kids are welcome. Come as you are.
