Hope in Action/Answers

Prayer is not informing God. It is joining Him.

If God Knows Everything, Why Pray?

If prayer were a news update for heaven, omniscience would make it pointless. That is not what prayer is. Jesus prayed, and He was not filling God in. He was living as a Son, exercising authority, and teaching you to do the same. God knows. You still speak — because He gave you a voice in the earth.

Your Father knows — and still wants you in the conversation

Matthew 6:8 is not an argument against asking. It is the atmosphere of asking. You are not a beggar trying to surprise God with a need He missed. You are a child taking your place. Free will is real. God is not a puppet-master who does everything whether you participate or not.

In the beginning He gave mankind authority. Prayer is one way that authority comes home — your mouth agreeing with His Word in a world where words still matter.

“Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.”

Matthew 6:8 (NKJV)

Faith receives what grace has already provided

You are not twisting God’s arm. You are reaching for what Jesus already paid for — wisdom, peace, healing, provision, open doors. Mark 11:24 is not hype. It is a Son teaching sons and daughters how the kingdom works.

If prayer has felt useless, it may be because you were taught to beg a reluctant God. There is better news. Come learn to pray from rest with a church that believes the Father is already good.

“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”

Mark 11:24 (NKJV)
