Hope in Action/Answers

Love that cannot be refused is not love. It is programming.

Why Did God Give Us Free Will?

If God can do anything, why not make a world where no one ever says no? Because then no one would ever say yes either. Forced worship is just noise. God is love, and love requires a real choice. That is costly. It is also the only way you get actual sons and daughters instead of well-behaved furniture.

He wanted relationship, not robotics

Deuteronomy 30:19 — I have set before you life and death… therefore choose life. That is a Father talking, not a puppeteer. Scripture said it first: God is not controlling every event. He gave authority to people. We used it poorly. He then sent Jesus to win it back.

If God authored every yes and every no, evil would be His idea. It is not. Free will is the only way a good God and a broken world can both be true.

“I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.”

Deuteronomy 30:19 (NKJV)

Your will still matters

You cannot save yourself. You can receive. Revelation 3:20 is still a knock, not a raid. If you have been waiting for God to override you, He is waiting for you to open.

Choose life. Come sit with people who already did, and who will not bully you into a performance.

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.”

Revelation 3:20 (NKJV)
