Hope in Action/Answers
He is not hiding. He is waiting to be wanted.
If God Is Real, Why Does He Hide?
It can feel like the most honest complaint in the room. If God wants to be known, why isn’t He louder? Why not write His name across the sky every morning? Here is the surprise: He already wrote it across a manger, a cross, and an empty tomb. The hiddenness you feel is often not absence. It is a Person who will not turn you into a puppet.
God is not playing peekaboo with your soul
Romans 1 says creation already speaks. John 1 says the true Light gives light to every person. Hebrews 1 says God has spoken in these last days by His Son. That is a lot of speech for a God who is supposedly silent.
What God will not do is override your will with a light so coercive that love becomes impossible. He is a Father, not a lab technician. He draws. He does not drag.
“God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds.”
Hebrews 1:1-2 (NKJV)

Seekers are rewarded, not toyed with
Jeremiah heard God say, you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. Jesus promised that the one who comes to Him will not be cast out. Hiddenness is often an invitation to come closer, not a proof He is gone.
If you are hungry, that hunger is already a response to His drawing. Come. Open a Gospel. Sit with a church family that expects God to be findable. He is not lost. He is near.
“And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”
Jeremiah 29:13 (NKJV)
