Hope in Action/Answers
Faith is not a leap into the dark. It is a step toward the light.
Is Faith Blind?
A lot of people were handed a cartoon of faith: close your eyes, shut off your brain, try harder to feel it. That is not Christianity. Biblical faith is confidence in a Person based on what He has said and done. You use this kind of trust every day — with pilots, surgeons, and promises. You just do not call it faith until church language gets involved.
Hebrews 11 calls faith evidence
The NKJV says faith is “the evidence of things not seen.” Evidence. Not pretend. You have not seen tomorrow, and you still make plans. You have not seen the wind, and you still watch the trees move. Unseen is not the same as unreal.
Faith does not create God’s promises. Faith receives them. Grace already provided. Trust is how a child takes what a Father has put on the table.
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV)

You are invited to look, not to hide
Jesus never scolded honest investigation. He presented Himself alive by many infallible proofs. Thomas was met, not mocked into silence. If your faith has to hide from questions, it was built on sand.
Bring the questions to the Word. Bring them to a church that will not panic. Faith comes by hearing — which means you can grow it. You do not have to manufacture a feeling. You can follow evidence all the way to Jesus.
“To whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.”
Acts 1:3 (NKJV)
