Hope in Action/Answers

Faith is not the absence of questions. It is the presence of trust.

Can I Be a Christian and Still Have Questions?

Some people wait to follow Jesus until the file is complete. That day will not come. You will die with unanswered questions even if you live to a hundred. Christianity is not a club for people who have finished thinking. It is a family for people who have met a Person worth trusting while they think.

The disciples were not a finished product

They argued. They misunderstood. They asked Him to explain the parables. After the resurrection some still doubted, and Matthew wrote that down instead of hiding it. Jesus did not require a completed systematic theology before He said “follow Me.”

You can belong while you learn. You cannot hide forever behind “I’m still researching” if the evidence has already pointed at an empty tomb.

“Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!””

Mark 9:24 (NKJV)

Bring the questions into the room

Isolated questions get weirder. Questions in a church that loves Scripture get answers, or at least companions. Saturday at 5:00 PM, Rocket Town Church, 4525 Apollo Road. Kids are welcome. You will not be put on the spot.

Hope in action can handle an honest mind. Come see.

“Yes, if you cry out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding, if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures; then you will understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.”

Proverbs 2:3-5 (NKJV)
