Hope in Action/Answers

He is not fragile. Honest questions are not the same as unbelief.

Is It Wrong to Question God?

Some of us were taught that a real believer never asks. Then life asked for us. Job asked. David asked. Thomas asked, and Jesus did not cancel him — He showed him scars. The problem is not a question. The problem is a heart that uses questions as a wall so it never has to be known.

The Bible is full of people who talked back — and stayed

Psalm 13 starts with “How long, O Lord?” and ends in trust. That is allowed. God can handle your volume. What He will not bless is a courtroom where you put Him in the dock and yourself on the throne. Ask as a child. Do not prosecute as a rival.

Jude 22 says have compassion on some, making a distinction. We will. Bring the hard ones. We would rather have your questions in the room than your silence in the parking lot.

“How long, O Lord? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me?”

Psalm 13:1 (NKJV)

Thomas got an invitation, not a lecture

Jesus said “reach your finger here.” Evidence was offered to a wounded friend. You can ask for reasons. You can also decide, after the reasons, whether you will trust the Person they point to.

Come this Saturday. Ask. Listen. You do not have to pretend you are further along than you are.

“Then He said to Thomas, “Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.””

John 20:27 (NKJV)
