You can still walk through the engineering the Bible described.
Is Hezekiah’s Tunnel Real?
The Bible says King Hezekiah, facing Assyria, redirected Jerusalem’s water through a tunnel cut in the rock. That sounds like the kind of detail a later writer would invent for color — until you stand in the tunnel. It is there. The Siloam Inscription, found in the 1800s, even describes the two crews meeting in the middle. You can treat this as what it is: Scripture you can get your boots wet in.
A king, a siege, and a channel in the stone
2 Chronicles 32 and 2 Kings 20 are not vague. Hezekiah stopped the upper watercourse of Gihon and brought it down to the west side of the City of David. Archaeology found the tunnel, the pool of Siloam, and an inscription that matches the method — two teams cutting toward each other through the ridge.
Sennacherib’s own records brag about shutting Hezekiah up “like a bird in a cage.” They do not brag about taking the city. The Bible and the Assyrian prism tell the same siege from two sides of the wall.
“This same Hezekiah also stopped the water outlet of Upper Gihon, and brought the water by tunnel to the west side of the City of David. Hezekiah prospered in all his works.”
2 Chronicles 32:30 (NKJV)

If this detail held, stop assuming the rest is myth
People pick at miracles and ignore the plumbing. God is in both. A Father who can keep a city through a tunnel can keep a promise through a cross.
Bring your curiosity. We are not afraid of the dirt or the text.
