Hope in Action/Answers
Healing is not a maybe. It is part of what Jesus already paid for.
Does God Still Heal Today?
If you have sat under teaching that God uses sickness to shape you, this question already hurts. Look at Jesus. He never put disease on anyone. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil. The Father has not changed His mind since the Gospels. The finished work still includes your body.
Provided, not negotiated
Isaiah 53 and 1 Peter 2:24 do not speak of healing as a bonus round for the extra-holy. They speak of it as part of the exchange. Jesus bore sickness as surely as He bore sin. Faith does not twist God’s arm. Faith takes what grace already laid on the table.
That does not mean every story resolves on your timetable. It means you have a covenant, not a coin toss. We will stand with you for life, not baptize the attack as the will of God.
“Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.”
1 Peter 2:24 (NKJV)

Come for prayer, not for a theory
James 5 still tells the church to pray for the sick. At Church Four Eighteen we will. Bring the diagnosis. Bring the fatigue. Bring the history of disappointment. God is still good, and Jesus is still the Healer.
You do not have to pretend you are not afraid. Come anyway.
“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.”
Acts 10:38 (NKJV)
