Hope in Action/Answers
His nature does not swing. His dealings with people can.
Does God Change His Mind?
Scripture says God is not a man that He should repent. It also shows Him relenting when Nineveh turned, or answering Hezekiah’s tears. That is not a contradiction if you distinguish His nature from His responses. A good Father does not mutate. A good Father does respond to His children.
His character is the fixed point
Malachi 3:6 — I am the Lord, I do not change. James 1:17 — no variation or shadow of turning. If God could become un-good, un-faithful, or un-true, you would have no gospel to stand on. The finished work of Jesus is as stable as the One who offered it.
You do not have to wonder which version of God you will get this week. You get the One Jesus revealed. Always.
“For I am the Lord, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.”
Malachi 3:6 (NKJV)

He responds because free will is real
When people repent, when they pray the Word, when they believe, heaven is not being surprised. God is being the Father He always was — partnering with people who finally agree with Him. Intercession matters because you are not a puppet.
If you have been told that prayer cannot change anything because God already decided, that is not the Bible’s picture. Come learn a partnership, not a fate.
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.”
James 1:17 (NKJV)
