Maybe it felt practical. Maybe it felt like the next step. Maybe you have already been burned by people who only knew how to scold. Hear this first: you are wanted here. Then hear this: God designed something better than a trial run.
Covenant is a covering, not a cage
Genesis 2 and Hebrews 13 treat marriage as holy because it pictures Christ and the church. Sharing a home and a bed without that covenant often looks like wisdom and quietly trains two people to keep an exit door in their minds.
God’s design is not prudish. It is protection. Sex is not a test drive. It is a covenant language.
“Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.”

Grace will walk you into the next step
If you are living together and you love Jesus — or you are starting to — you do not need a public shaming. You need a path: honest conversation, pastoral care, and often a move toward marriage or toward purity that honors God.
Come talk with us. We will not use the Bible as a club. We will use it as a lamp.
