What’s the Deal with Dating?
Apps, almosts, the pressure to lock it down or keep it casual. God cares about your heart more than your highlights. Dating should be a path toward covenant or a door you can close with honor — not a fog.
Know who you are before you date
Complete in Christ. That sentence will save you years. Do not use another person to anesthetize loneliness. Be a friend. Be honest. Be holy — not as a killjoy, as someone whose body is a temple.
If you cannot talk about Jesus, you are already hiding something the marriage would need.
“Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?”

Let a church see you
Isolation is where dating goes sideways. Sit in community. Invite counsel. Come as a whole person, not as a project looking for a plus-one.
