Hope in Action/Real Life
Discipleship starts at bedtime, not at graduation.
Intentional Parenting
Default parenting produces default disciples. The world is already catechizing your child. The question is whether the Word will get there first.
The Word at home
Deuteronomy 6 is still the pattern: these words shall be in your heart, and you shall teach them diligently to your children — at the table, in the car, at lights-out. You cannot outsource that to a children’s ministry, even a good one.
Identity in Christ, the goodness of God, how to hear the Spirit — those are family conversations.
“And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.”
Deuteronomy 6:6-7 (NKJV)
You do not parent in a vacuum
418 Kidz exists to partner, not to replace you. Bring them. Sit under the Word yourself. Kids smell authenticity. The best youth ministry still starts with parents who are being changed.
If you feel behind, start this week. Grace covers missed years. The next conversation is still available.
“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Proverbs 22:6 (NKJV)
You do not have to figure this out alone
Come sit with people who are living this out.
Church Four Eighteen is a family in Titusville learning to receive what Jesus already finished — and to put hope in action. Saturdays at 5:00 PM. Kids are welcome. Come as you are.
