Blending Families
Two histories. Two sets of traditions. Kids who did not vote on this. You can love everyone in the house and still have days that feel impossible. God is a God of new creations — including new family cultures.
Patience is not denial
Love believes, hopes, and endures. It also tells the truth and goes slowly. You cannot microwave trust in a child who has already lost something.
Pray together. Keep Jesus at the center so no child has to be the glue. Get counsel early, not after everyone is exhausted.

You need a wider family
A healthy church keeps a blended home from becoming an island. 418 Kidz, youth, and adult community give kids other safe adults and give you other parents who understand.
Come as you are — messy calendar and all.

Church Four Eighteen is a family in Titusville learning to receive what Jesus already finished — and to put hope in action. Saturdays at 5:00 PM. Kids are welcome. Come as you are.
