Rebuilding Trust in a Relationship
Someone broke it. Maybe you did. Trust does not resurrect because you want it to. It grows where truth is told and kept. God is in the restoration business — including this.
Truth first
No rebuilding on a lie. Confession, not spin. The person who was wounded sets a wise pace. The person who wounded must become predictable in the light.
Jesus is full of grace and truth. You need both in the room.
“Therefore, putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another.”

You will likely need help
A pastor, a counselor, a church family — isolation is where suspicion wins. Come. If the relationship should not be restored for safety reasons, we will help you see that too. Grace is not gullibility.
