Are Relationships Supposed to Be Difficult?
If you thought love would be easy, you were sold a movie. Fallen people bump. That does not mean you picked wrong. It means you need a source of love bigger than the relationship.
We love because He first loved us
First John 4:19 is the whole counseling strategy. Receive from the Father, then overflow. When two people demand the other be their savior, the relationship will feel like death. When both are being filled, difficulty becomes something you can walk through.
Conflict can be a classroom. Contempt is a coffin.

Get tools and get community
Learn to speak truth in love. Forgive as you have been forgiven. Sit in a church where marriages, friendships, and families are being repaired in public.
You do not have to fake easy. Come get strong.
“But, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ.”
Ephesians 4:15 (NKJV)
You do not have to figure this out alone
