Why Do Friendships Fall Apart?
You thought they would be there. They are not. Maybe it was drift. Maybe it was betrayal. Proverbs says there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother — and that ultimately points us to Jesus, then to His people.
Name it without poisoning it
Not every ending is a villain story. Some seasons complete. When there was sin, forgive as you have been forgiven — which does not always mean the same access. Wisdom and bitterness are not the same thing.
Ask God what to learn without turning cynical.
“A man who has friends must himself be friendly, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.”

Open your hands again
The enemy would love this to be the last time you trust anyone. Do not give him that. Come to a church where friendship is practiced on purpose — serving together, praying together, showing up.
Your next brother or sister might be two rows over.
“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.”
