Hope in Action/Real Life
Hard does not mean hopeless. And you are not crazy.
A Difficult Marriage
Some mornings you wonder if you married the wrong person. Some nights you wonder if God even sees this house. He does. He hates what sin does to covenant, and He is still a Redeemer of stories that look finished.
Receive before you try to manufacture
You cannot love like Christ out of an empty tank. First John says we love because He first loved us. A difficult marriage needs more than tips. It needs two people (or even one) filled with the love of God, the Word, and often wise counsel.
Safety matters. If there is abuse, get help and get safe. Grace is not a command to stay in harm’s way.
“Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”
1 Corinthians 13:7 (NKJV)
You do not have to white-knuckle this
A church family, prayer, and people who have walked the long road can hold you up when feelings cannot. God is a restorer.
Come. Tell someone the truth. We will pray, walk, and refuse both denial and despair.
“And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.”
Ephesians 4:32 (NKJV)
You do not have to figure this out alone
Come sit with people who are living this out.
Church Four Eighteen is a family in Titusville learning to receive what Jesus already finished — and to put hope in action. Saturdays at 5:00 PM. Kids are welcome. Come as you are.
