Hope in Action/Connect

A challenge is not proof God left the room.

Experiencing a Challenge?

The diagnosis, the layoff, the closed door. James said to count it joy when you fall into trials — not because pain is fun, but because faith can grow where it is exercised. God is still good in the middle of it.

Do not mislabel the source

If it steals, kills, or destroys, do not put the Father’s name on it. Resist. Pray the Word. Get friends who will stand, not friends who will baptize the attack as “God’s plan to humble you.”

Jesus is the author and finisher of faith, not of your disaster.

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.

James 1:2-3 (NKJV)

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Psalm 46:1 (NKJV)
