Hope in Action/Answers
He is not an ego. He is a Father who knows what worship does to you.
Why Does God Want Worship?
If a person demanded praise the way a tyrant does, you would walk out. God is not that person. Worship is not Him fishing for compliments. It is you stepping into reality — telling the truth about who He is, and finding out who you are in the process. Idols shrink you. The living God enlarges you.
Worship is truth, spoken back
The Father is seeking worshipers in spirit and truth, Jesus said. Seeking — not because He is empty, but because you are. You become like what you behold. If you behold a small, angry god, you become small and angry. If you behold Jesus, you become free.
He wants worship because He wants you whole. Praise is not payment. It is participation in what is already true.
“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.”
John 4:23 (NKJV)

You were built to adore something
Everybody worships. Career, romance, self, a cause, a wound. The question is whether your worship can carry the weight of a soul. Only God can. Revelation 4 is not heaven inflating God’s self-esteem. It is creation finally in tune.
Come sing with us. Not to impress Him — to remember Him. Saturday, 5:00 PM, Rocket Town Church. Hope in action starts with a heart that knows who is worthy.
“Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.”
Psalm 29:2 (NKJV)
