Hope in Action/Answers

Jesus already walked through it and left the door open.

What Happens After Death?

Death has a way of making every other conversation feel small. The Bible does not treat it as a fog. Jesus called Himself the resurrection and the life — present tense, not a rumor about someday.

For the believer, death is a relocation

Paul said to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. That is not soul-sleep in a void. That is going home. Jesus told the thief on the cross, “Today you will be with Me in Paradise.” The new birth puts eternal life in you now, not after you qualify.

We grieve. We just do not grieve as people who have no hope. The Person you love in Christ is not gone from God.

We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.

2 Corinthians 5:8 (NKJV)

The invitation is for today

Jesus said, “He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.” The way to be ready for death is not to obsess over it. It is to receive the life He is offering now.

If you are facing a funeral, a diagnosis, or a quiet fear you have never named, you do not have to carry it alone. We will walk with you — and we will point you to a living Savior.

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

John 11:25-26 (NKJV)
