Hope in Action/Answers
Even the cover story admitted the body was gone.
Was the Tomb Really Empty?
If anyone in Jerusalem could have wheeled a body through the streets, Christianity would have died in a weekend. They didn’t. Matthew records the official story: the disciples stole Him. That is an admission dressed as an accusation. The empty tomb is not a later church decoration. It is part of the earliest argument.
You do not invent women as your star witnesses
In that world a woman’s testimony was discounted in court. If you were fabricating a resurrection, you would send Peter and John to the tomb in the first scene. The Gospels send Mary Magdalene. Historians call this the criterion of embarrassment: awkward details are marks of memory, not marketing.
The tomb was in a known place, owned by a known council member, Joseph of Arimathea. That is a checkable claim in a small city.
“He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”
Matthew 28:6 (NKJV)

Empty is not enough. He also appeared
An empty tomb could be a theft. Combined with appearances to friends, skeptics, and a crowd — and with the explosion of the church in the same city — theft becomes the harder story to believe.
Come celebrate an empty grave as news, not as a seasonal brand. Easter is every Saturday we remember He is alive.
“When they had assembled with the elders and consulted together, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers, saying, “Tell them, ‘His disciples came at night and stole Him away while we slept.’”
Matthew 28:12-13 (NKJV)
