Hope in Action/Answers
Exclusive because He finished what no one else could.
Who Is Jesus and Why Is He the Only Way to God?
In a plural world, “only way” sounds like a fight. Jesus did not say it to win an argument. He said it because He was about to walk to a cross no other teacher could walk, and come out of a grave no other founder emptied.
No one else took your place
Other paths can offer advice, discipline, or a picture of the divine. None of them can make a sinner righteous. Jesus became sin for us so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. That is not a metaphor. That is an exchange.
If there were another way, the cross was divine overkill. The Father did not send the Son to die for a hobby. He sent Him because we could not get there from here.
“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.””
John 14:6 (NKJV)
The only way is also an open way
“Only” does not mean “for a few.” Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. The door is narrow because it is a Person, and wide because anyone may come.
You do not have to become impressive to walk through it. You receive Jesus. That is the invitation we live at Church Four Eighteen.
“Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
Acts 4:12 (NKJV)
You do not have to figure this out alone
Come sit with people who are living this out.
Church Four Eighteen is a family in Titusville learning to receive what Jesus already finished — and to put hope in action. Saturdays at 5:00 PM. Kids are welcome. Come as you are.
