Hope in Action/Answers
He did not leave this as a rumor.
Is Jesus Really the Son of God?
If Jesus is only a teacher, you can admire Him from a safe distance. If He is the Son of God, then what He said about the Father, about sin, about you, and about eternity is not optional. The New Testament does not treat this as a maybe.
He claimed it, then proved it
Jesus did not merely live a beautiful life. He claimed oneness with the Father, received worship, forgave sin, and staked everything on rising from the dead. Romans 1 says He was declared the Son of God with power by the resurrection.
You can ignore a guru. You cannot shrug off an empty tomb. The first church did not grow because people liked a philosophy. It grew because they had seen Jesus alive.
“And declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.”
Romans 1:4 (NKJV)
If He is the Son, you can be a child
John 1 says as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God. The point of the incarnation is not a debate trophy. It is a family. God did not send a messenger. He came Himself.
That is why we worship Jesus at Church Four Eighteen — not as a mascot, but as Lord. If you are unsure, start with the Gospels. Read them as if they might be true. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you who He is.
“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.”
John 1:12 (NKJV)
You do not have to figure this out alone
Come sit with people who are living this out.
Church Four Eighteen is a family in Titusville learning to receive what Jesus already finished — and to put hope in action. Saturdays at 5:00 PM. Kids are welcome. Come as you are.
