Hope in Action/Answers

Narrow is a door. It is also an open one.

Is Christianity Too Narrow?

In a plural world, “only way” sounds unkind. It can also be the most honest thing in the room. If there are a hundred roads and they all claim opposite things about God, they cannot all be right. Jesus did not say He was a way. He said He was the way — and then He opened it with His own blood for whoever believes.

Exclusive because the problem is specific

If sin is real, advice will not fix it. If death is real, a guru cannot raise you. Only a sinless substitute who walked out of a grave can do what the rest of us cannot. That is not arrogance. That is a diagnosis.

Other paths can carry wisdom, beauty, and hunger. They cannot carry atonement. We can say that without mocking the people on those paths. Hunger is not the enemy. The enemy is a substitute that cannot save.

“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.””

John 14:6 (NKJV)

The only way is a wide welcome

Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Every tribe, every past, every skeptic who will come. Narrow does not mean tiny. It means there is a name on the door, not a maze of self-improvement.

If Christianity has felt like a club, come see a church that treats it like a rescue. You are invited — not because you fit, because He finished.

“Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

Acts 4:12 (NKJV)
