Are We All Gods?
New Age language can sound almost Christian until you notice the direction. The gospel says God came down. The other story says you climb up until you realize you were divine all along. One produces worship. The other produces a self that cannot be corrected, healed, or saved — because gods do not need a Savior.

Genesis 1:27 is dignity, not deification. You reflect. You do not replace. Isaiah 43:10 is God shutting the door gently: before Me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after Me. That is good news. The universe does not need more deities. It needs sons and daughters.
When Psalm 82 or Jesus in John 10 uses “gods” language, it is not handing out divinity. It is talking about representatives under the one true God — and Jesus immediately claims more than they ever could.

Child of God is the upgrade, not ‘I am God’
The Spirit bears witness with your spirit that you are a child of God. That is intimacy without the blasphemy. You receive righteousness. You do not generate it. You are seated with Christ — still not Christ.
If you have been told to look within for divinity, look to Jesus instead. You will find a Father, a cross, and a new identity that can actually carry a human life.
