Preparing for a Baby
The list is long: car seat, leave from work, insurance, fear you will not know what to do at 2 a.m. God knew this child before you did. He is not scrambling.
Peace is part of the provision
Isaiah 26:3 says God will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on Him. Preparation includes cribs. It also includes filling your mind with the Word instead of every worst-case headline.
Pray over this child now. Speak life. You are already a parent in the spirit of how you talk about them.

Let the church be part of the village
418 Kidz starts at nursery for a reason. You were never meant to do this as a closed loop. Come while you are expecting. Let people know your name before you need a casserole.
God’s grace is sufficient for the next season, not just this one.
