Hope in Action/Connect
True justice starts at the cross and walks toward people.
Seeking Social Justice
The world is not fair. Luke 4:18 is Jesus announcing good news to the poor and liberty to the oppressed. That is not optional. It is also not the same thing as baptizing every earthly ideology and calling it the kingdom.
Justice is God’s idea
Micah 6:8 — do justly, love mercy, walk humbly. The prophets rage against exploitation because God does. The church should be the first to protect the weak, tell the truth, and open a hand.
We do that because people are image-bearers, not because it is trending.
“He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?”
Micah 6:8 (NKJV)
Jesus first, then the street
If we lose the gospel, we will only rearrange deck chairs. Saved people become just people. Come practice both — worship that tells the truth about God, and a life that tells the truth about our neighbor in Titusville.
Hope in action is not a hashtag. It is a Saturday and a Monday.
“Learn to do good; seek justice, rebuke the oppressor; defend the fatherless, plead for the widow.”
Isaiah 1:17 (NKJV)
You do not have to figure this out alone
Come sit with people who are living this out.
Church Four Eighteen is a family in Titusville learning to receive what Jesus already finished — and to put hope in action. Saturdays at 5:00 PM. Kids are welcome. Come as you are.
