A dial this precise does not spin itself.
Is the Universe Fine-Tuned?
Physicists talk about constants so precise that a hair’s-width change would make life impossible — gravity, the expansion rate, the mix of elements. You can call that luck if you want. Luck is a thin word for a universe that looks aimed.
The teleological argument has a simple shape
The design case is not “this is pretty, therefore God.” It is this: when we see specified complexity — information, calibration, purpose — we reasonably infer a mind. We do it with arrowheads, software, and Mount Rushmore. We should not panic when the universe itself looks like that.
Fine-tuning is not a God-of-the-gaps filler. It is a God-of-the-whole-picture observation. The gaps keep shrinking. The design keeps showing up.
“For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.”
Romans 1:20 (NKJV)

The Designer wants to be known
A calibrated cosmos would be impressive even if God stayed distant. He did not. The same Word who holds the constants together took on flesh and walked into our mess. Fine-tuning got you a universe. The cross got you a Father.
If the scale of space has made God feel less personal, look at Jesus. The One who set the dials also set a table. You are invited.
“For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible… All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.”
Colossians 1:16-17 (NKJV)
