Hope in Action/Real Life
A chapter closed is not a calling cancelled.
The Empty Nest
The house is quieter. The calendar looks different. You can feel proud and hollow in the same afternoon. God is not finished with your story because the minivan is gone.
Your identity was never “needed by kids”
If your name was Parent more than Child of God, this season will shake you — and that shaking can be a gift. You are still a new creation with gifts, a spouse to enjoy, a church to serve, and people to disciple.
Psalm 92 says the righteous still bear fruit in old age. That is a promise, not a pep talk.
“They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing.”
Psalm 92:14 (NKJV)
Reinvest the love
Grandchildren, spiritual sons and daughters, missions, mentoring — the love you learned in the house is needed in the church. Come talk to us about the next assignment.
Hope in action does not retire.
“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
Philippians 1:6 (NKJV)
You do not have to figure this out alone
Come sit with people who are living this out.
Church Four Eighteen is a family in Titusville learning to receive what Jesus already finished — and to put hope in action. Saturdays at 5:00 PM. Kids are welcome. Come as you are.
